Wedding Dress Disaster....and the Fix

By the way, I didn't just get married, but after my last post, some you of you asked for the pictures to back up my disaster story.  So, here you have it.  My disaster of a wedding dress.  Don't I look thrilled?  This was probably the same day that I told the new seamstress in charge of my dress that there is no way this dress was going to be wearable.   Luckily I was able to do a charge back on the credit card for the down payment that I gave them.  It really is too bad it didn't work out because the original dress was beautiful, and the seamstress sketch of the modified modest version was also beautiful.  Oh well, I really do think my dress was pretty, so there you go.
Luckily my wedding dress disaster had a happy ending!
p.s. It poured rain in Portland the day we got married, torrential downpours, but somehow the clouds cleared for our pictures.  We weren't so lucky for the reception which had to be moved inside.
p.s. I want my body back!

Oh my gosh! What in the world was the back up seamstress thinking!! That is beyond what I had imagined! I love the dress you ended up wearing and am glad you got your money back!

Thank goodness you were able to get a refund on your down payment!

Your actual wedding dress is so beautiful! I think I actually like it better than the first. You were a beautiful bride, Chelsea!

So I can totally see where the 1st dress could have been unbelievable! I hear you about the mishap though--almost the same exact thing happened with the new tux we bought Nathan pre-wedding. LOVE your dress that you wore though, and that pic of you in the evening is one of the most beautiful wedding pics I've ever seen! Love it!
