My "Spa Day" at Eden Day Spa and Hair Design

Each time one of the makeover winners gets the royal treatment from Eden Day Spa and Hair Design, I am always jealous!  I have never had a real facial (I don't count my experience in Provo at the beauty school as a facial).  I've only had one pedicure in my life, and the girl who gave it to me (also in Utah), cut my heal so bad with her shaver that I had to leave with my foot wrapped in a bandage and limp for two weeks.  My cousin did treat me to a massage once, but that was years ago.  Pretty much, I wanted my turn getting pampered.  Well Kori and the rest of the girls at Eden Day Spa decided to give me the royal treatment with my very own spa treatment.  I had no idea what I was going to get, and they kept me guessing.

First I changed into their luxurious bathrobes and slippers.  Seriously, the best robes, ever!  They took me to their facial room and I had a treatment of the Bio-Synthesis Light Activated Rejuvination.  I have some spots as a result of my pregnancies (pregnancy mask), and I wanted to lighten them.  They also treated me to an Organic Opulence Facial, and I'll say it was heaven.  If I was wealthy, I'd get a facial weekly.

I would have been completely satisfied if that was the end of my spa experience, but next they had me meet with Kelly for the best massage of my life.  You know it's good when you fall asleep.  Kelly gave me a Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage, and also a Swedish Massage.  Seriously, I think I was having an out of body experience because it was that relaxing.  AMAZING.  It was a 90 minute massage, and without a doubt the most relaxing 90 minutes of my life.  Every knot in my back was gone by the time I left that room.  Needless to say I felt like Jello.

Of course at this point, I'm expecting them to escort me back to the dressing room, but instead they took me to their pedicure room and Hailey gave me a Signature Spa Pedicure, and got rid of my rough heals.  There is nothing better than soaking your feet in hot water and having them massaged and manicured.  I chose orange nail polish for my toes which was a first for me, but it was October so I went for it.

I cannot say enough good about Eden Day Spa's luxurious atmosphere.  Each room is a relaxing oasis, with soft music and water features to send you into your own paradise.  Remember if you come from the Make You Over site, you can get 10 percent off of any new service.  This would make a great Christmas gift for someone.  It will be the best one they get, I promise!

Sounds like a fantastic day! You want to know something crazy? For Christmas last year, Spencer told me to choose a place and go get a massage. I never did because I was nursing, and Eva ate every 2 hours the entire 10 months that I nursed her.

So...I still haven't done it yet! This post may have pushed me over the edge...I think I'm going to have to give them a call!

Wow! It sounds like you had a fabulous time. I'm thinking of treating my mom to a wonderful day filled with relaxation and pampering, and going to a spa is the perfect activity for her. Her birthday is just around the corner, and I'm looking for the best birthday gift for her. Thankfully, I stumbled upon your blog.
