I love these Ralph Lauren skinny jeans. They can be found at Macy's in their plus size collection. I love the rise on them. So flattering!
These Calvin Klein Jeans can also be found at Macy's. They aren't the extreme skinny jeans, but still have the same type of look.
I put together this style board using plus sized clothes to show you how you can wear skinny jeans, without feeling "exposed." Work it girls!

I just can't picture my back end looking good in skinny jeans... I think it would be akin to seeing a pear on toothpicks. Maybe I'll try on a pair just for kicks.
Heather, I think the key is making sure you have the right top. I would say a longer, flowy top would look great on you!
I'm sorry, I just don't see it. Skinny jeans just don't work for me. How are these not "MOM" jeans?" You know, the higher rise, the tapered leg? It's what we've made fun of older moms for wearing for years! Why is it now considered stylish??
The Emily, I can see where you're coming from, but just think of Audrey Hepburn. She wore the skinny jean style and her look is timeless. I think it just all depends on how you wear it. To me skinny jeans are not mom jeans. When I think of mom jeans I think of baggy in the bum, light washed, baggy in the front, and just all together not flattering. You should go try some on, I'm curious to how you'd like them once you've got them on. Try the Always skinny, Gap mid-rise. They are a popular style.
Love it..lol!! I didnt think I could ever pull that look off...(plus I think I am still on strike that a lot of the 80's styles are coming back...I mean, c'mon) Anyways, I am going to go on into Macys and try out this look..who knows! Thanks Chelsea!
I think I am with heather, I am just not seeing the big picture. and really I am not a fan of the skinny jeans, and I have only seen a few people pull it off!
oh, and these models hardly look plus sized!!!!
I know we should all just trust you because you are always dress fabulous!! I am loving this blog by the way!
I LOVE the Gap skinny jeans. They are the only ones I have tried on that aren't huge in the waist and even the regular (not mid rise) aren't too scandalously low.
