Oh No I Didn't...

Oh YES I did. As I was getting ready for church yesterday I could not find a shirt that looked good with my dressy holiday skirt. I was about to pick out another outfit when all of the sudden it clicked that in my Goodwill donation pile, I had the shirt that I wore to my Homecoming dance in 1999. I think I also wore it to homecoming at Rick's College in 2000, and that's the last time I wore it.  I dug it out, and sure enough it went great with my skirt. You never would have known. I should have snapped a picture!

Do you still wear clothes from high school? Yeah, I'm probably the only one. (It doesn't count if you've graduated in the past 5 years). I still wear lots of clothes from college, but most of my clothes come from when I was single and working full time. Oh man, I shouldn't reminisce because I'll just get jealous of my old self. I used to go to TJ Maxx during my lunch breaks all the time. Then whenever I'd travel to the East Coast, I'd stock up at my favorite stores. Those were the days.  Yeah, I seriously shouldn't reminisce.

Actually, my life is so much better now that I have cute kids like this.  This was taken last year, and he did not want to wear the Santa suit!  In his defense he was so sick.  I'm really hoping to avoid sickness during Christmas this year.  We had our fair share last year.
This one's my favorite.

K now you have to take a picture of your outfit! Go put it one right now!
I have clothes from high school still. They are mostly classic staples for outfits. But ya, still got 'em.

I have a few, although not all that many (I graduated in 2003). Being pregnant and then post-partum 3 (now 4) times in the last 5 years'll give a girl plenty of opportunities to wardrobe sift.

You looked adorable on Sunday! I never would have know that shirt was from your high school days. Rock it, girl!

I'm with Whitney - shifting sizes so much with having 4 kids, I don't think I've held on to a single thing more than a couple years. Bummer... :(
